I’ve been chasing sunsets for over forty years and I am still amazed by them. Living in south central Louisiana there are so many trees (and that’s a good thing) that it can be hard to a good shot, so it takes a little planning and forethought to be in the right place at the right time.
Well, I’ve found another way to get up above the trees and get some great sunset and sunrise photos. Still, timing is everything and if you aren’t on your game so-to-speak, you can still miss some great photos. This particular photo was taken while flying my Phantom 2 over Lake Concordia, and is actually an outtake from a video. So I had many frames to choose from to get the shot I wanted.
